While on a study aboard at the BYU Jerusalem Center I was asked to arrange a piece for the Branch Choir. Naturally, I was lead to hymns that spoke of Zion and its divine role. After deciding to arrange the hymn “Beautiful Zion, Built Above” I wanted to find a melody that set the text in a more reflective way. What I found was the melody of the LDS hymn “Father of Our Fathers” and this arrangement was the result.
